The functioning of the diplomatic missions of Russia and the United States will be adjusted, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference on the results of Russian-American talks on February 18.
“We have practically agreed that we need to solve once and for all the problem of the functioning of our diplomatic missions,” he said.
Also, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that within the framework of the talks, the sides agreed to restore the number of staff at the US and Russian embassies in Moscow and Washington.
With the beginning of diplomatic and economic pressure on Russia, the US has closed several Russian embassies and imposed sanctions against Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
