Verkhovnaya Rada extends mobilization and martial law in Ukraine

The Ukrainian parliament decided to extend mobilization and martial law in Ukraine for 90 days on 15 January.

Martial law and mobilization have been extended until May 9.

According to the RBC media, 315 members of the Verkhovnaya Rada voted in favor, there were no votes against or abstaining. 11 deputies did not participate in the voting.

Earlier on January 14, bills to extend mobilization and martial law were submitted to the Rada by Zelensky. Ukraine has already extended mobilization, its term expires on February 8.
