NATO defense ministers meeting in Ramstein, Germany, were upset by the situation in Ukraine, Polish Defense Minister Władysław Marcin Kosiniak-Kamysz told RMF FM radio station on January 10.
“The mood is not good. First of all it comes from the difficult situation in Ukraine. Yesterday there was President Zelensky, Minister Umerov. The situation on the front line is very difficult. The war fatigue in Ukraine is enormous. People are simply fed up,” – stated Kosiniak-Kamysz.
On 9 January, the defense ministers of several NATO countries, its secretary-general and representatives of Ukraine met at the Ramstein airbase in Germany. It was agreed that Ukraine will receive a $500m aid package. This amount will be used to supply ammunition, including for air defense, and equipment for F-16 fighter jets.
