A missile-guided attack on a oil tank in the port of Berdyansk was attempted by Ukrainian militants, the governor of Zaporozhye region, Evgeniy Balitsky, said on January 8.
By doing so, they wanted to provoke an ecological catastrophe in the Sea of Azov, he noted.
No one was injured as a result of the missile attack, the strike did not affect the port’s operability.
