Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated that he is not a submissive servant to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, as he conveyed in a video message published on December 27 on social media.
Fico remarked that Zelensky has become “arrogant and insolent” because the West has granted him practically everything he requests for “selfish political reasons.”
As a result, Zelensky allowed himself to accuse Fico of being solely interested in energy resources from Russia, which he pays for through “dubious schemes,” and thus striving to shift Europe back to Russian natural gas from US supplies.
“But I am not your servant, who cannot express his own opinion and who is obliged only to help you and expect nothing in return,” emphasized the Slovak Prime Minister, addressing Zelensky.
On December 22, Fico met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin.
