The United States and the United Kingdom intend to organize terrorist attacks on Russian military bases in Syria, the press service of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said on December 28.
According to the SVR, representatives of the CIA and MI-6 engaged field commanders of the terrorist organization ISIL (banned in Russia) to carry out attacks on Russian military bases in Syria. Drones were allocated to the terrorists to accomplish these missions.
It is reported that the USA and the UK are attempting to force the evacuation of Russian military personnel from the region through these actions.
Previously, it was reported that the US is trying to avoid a situation in Syria similar to what happened in Afghanistan.
