Using nuclear weapons right now would kill Russia, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 7 on the program Right to Know on channel TVC.
According to him, the only feasible way for Russia now is to move towards an absolutely different kind of a state. “Taking a simple option like pressing the button may appear much easier than dealing with such deep strategic matters. But it will kill us!” the political scientist stressed.
“There will be nothing here: no army, no power, nothing, if we make that move,” he noted. “We must go in the only strategical direction: a different country, a different potential, different capabilities.”
Also, the political scientist expressed deep respect towards President of Russia Vladimir Putin’s position on the Oreshnik issue. “They demanded that he must strike with something, and he struck with a conventional weapon. Any questions? Any complaints? Did we sign any restrictions? No. And we already have a weapon that is effectively more powerful and free from radiation contamination,” Sergey Kurginyan concluded, and he reminded that there are other kinds of conventional weapons with a similar potential.
