The Russian Armed Forces on the Vremyevka direction severed the main supply route for Ukrainian militants stationed in Velikaya Novoselka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), reported Vladimir Rogov, head of the Public Chamber Commission on Sovereignty and co-chair of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions, on December 26 to RIA Novosti.
“Our troops advanced along the Gulyay Pole – Velikaya Novoselka highway north of Rovnopol, liberating approximately 10 square kilometers, thereby cutting off the main supply route for ammunition and reserves to the Ukrainian forces,” Rogov said.
As a result, the enemy is now forced to supply its forces in Velikaya Novoselka via secondary rural roads and fields, which presents additional challenges for them.
The Vremeyevka front is located at the junction of Zaporozhye Region and the DPR. Ukrainian forces have established a major command post in Velikaya Novoselka, which also serves as an important logistical hub.
