A new missile strike was carried out on Tel Aviv using the hypersonic missile Palestine-2, according to the ruling military-political movement “Ansar Allah” (Houthis) in northern Yemen, as reported on December 24 on its Telegram channel.
The Houthis’ statement reads, “We conducted a military operation targeting a military objective of the Israeli enemy in occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) using the hypersonic ballistic missile ‘Palestine-2.’ We successfully achieved our objectives.”
Recently, tensions between Yemen, controlled by the Houthi group, and Israel have escalated. Almost daily, the Houthis launch rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles towards Israel, declaring their readiness to provide a proportional response to any attacks from Israel.
