The risk of a nuclear confrontation is high because the world “has gone substantially insane,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 7 on the program Right to Know on channel TVC.
“The world is insane. People accustomed to controlling everything pretend that they control everything but they feel that they are losing ground under their feet and that they do not control anything [anymore],” Sergey Kurginyan explained.
The analyst explained a major difference between the current situation and what we had before.
“When in England or elsewhere there are few gentlemen who know ancient languages and study at Oxford etc., while all the others can hardly read, we have one kind of a situation. When anyone can post on the Internet, the world becomes much less controllable regardless of your attempts to regulate that or any filters and control systems you implement,” the political scientist explained.
He stressed that these changes strongly affect those who used to control processes on the globe and who have become accustomed to it.
“They do not quite understand how they can control [the world] and they feel really worried about that. The more they feel worried the more they pretend that everything is fine. The more they pretend that everything is fine the more they become brazen. The more they become brazen the more insanity they acquire,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.
The political scientist noted that this kind of insanity is exactly what can result in any potential crisis scenarios including ones when nuclear weapons can be used.
“I just can see it absolutely definitely. This is clear to all the people both at the front and behind the scene. This kind of self-assured confidence as a quality of the world is something really major, really major,” the analyst added.
