A new record of 40 million tons of fertilizers will be exported by Russia by the year 2024, Andrey Guryev, head of the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers, said in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel on December 18.
Three-quarters of the fertilizer volume was supplied to friendly countries.
“Speaking about exports, I would like to say once again that the absolute record of 40 million tons of fertilizers was supplied to different countries,” Guryev said.
According to him, exports amounted to almost 75% of the total production volume.
He specified, fertilizer exports grew the most to Asia – by 60%, to Africa – by 18%, and to Latin America – by 20%. According to him, this is a great achievement of the industry.
