The Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Zarya in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Russian Ministry of Defense informed on December 12.
“As a result of decisive actions by units of the Tsent Group of Forces, the village of Zarya in the Donetsk People’s Republic was liberated,” stated the ministry’s press service.
Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, Co-Chairman of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions, said that the Russian military had entered and were fighting over the village of Shevchenko west of Kurakhovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The co-chairman explained that the fierce fighting in Kurakhovo, as well as encirclement around the Ukrainian armed units in the city, are becoming increasingly distinct.
