Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov: It is not acceptable now to cooperate with the West on nuclear disarmament

11.12.2024, Moscow.

It is politically unacceptable to further cooperate with countries unfriendly to Russia on nuclear disarmament, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said at a plenary session of the State Duma on December 11.

Sergey Ryabkov emphasized that he was referring to countries that behave aggressively toward Russia and supply its enemies with weapons.

Further cooperation in the field of nuclear disarmament with states that pursue anti-Russian policies, act very aggressively, and supply weapons to our enemies has become not only irrelevant, but also politically unacceptable,” the diplomat said.
