Terrorist groups in Syria managed to capture the administrative center of Aleppo province thanks to US technologies and the assistance of Ukrainian advisors on UAVs, RIA Novosti wrote on December 2, citing a source close to Syrian intelligence services.
“Militants of the terrorist group ‘Al-Nusra’ (organization banned in Russia) lack the experience to use advanced technologies, and it would have been impossible to master them without advisors from Ukraine, the ‘Islamic Party of Turkestan’ (organization banned in Russia), and Syrian officers [who sided with the terrorists – Rossa Primavera News Agency],” noted the agency’s source.
The source also believes that the advancement of terrorists from the former Jabhat al-Nusra (organization banned in Russia), now called Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (organization banned in Russia), would have been impossible without advanced US technologies, including satellite navigation and electronic warfare systems.
The representative of the Syrian intelligence services pointed out that the terrorists’ assault groups and the drones they used “were equipped with GPS devices with encryption and extensive use of artificial intelligence.”
