Russian Armed Forces have targeted the infrastructure of Ukrainian military airfields and energy facilities that support Ukraine’s defense industry, according to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry on November 30, shared on their Telegram channel.
The Russian Defense Ministry’s statement highlights that the strikes, carried out by tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missile troops, and artillery, hit infrastructure at military airfields, energy facilities critical to the defense industry, and concentrations of enemy personnel and military equipment in 132 areas.
On the evening of November 29, Ukrainian media reported several series of explosions in Kherson, a city in the Kherson region liberated by Russia. However, Kherson, located on the right bank of the Dnieper River, remains under Ukrainian control.
Additionally, on November 30, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration appointed by Kiev, reported infrastructure damage in parts of the region controlled by the Ukrainian armed units.
Like Kherson, Zaporozhye Region was also partially liberated by Russia, but the northern part of the region, including the city of Zaporozhye, remains under Ukrainian control.
Overnight, explosions were also heard in the suburbs of Kiev, with local authorities reporting air defense systems being in action. Air raid alerts were issued in various parts of the country, including Kiev, Kiev Region, Poltava, Kirovograd, and Cherkasy Regions.
The Russian Ministry of Defense emphasizes that all strikes are aimed exclusively at military and energy facilities in Ukraine and their associated infrastructure. The ministry regularly updates on such attacks.
