The transition to a polyphonic world order declared by Russian President Vladimir Putin may not happen, since there is an obvious growth in military spending in the Western countries, said philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on November 15 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
The political scientist is convinced that polyphony is the ideal way of existence, it is a harmonious world where every voice has its place and all voices together must be heard. From this perspective, the philosopher positively evaluates Vladimir Putin’s statement in regards to the growing influence of small countries, and due to their steady emergence from a complete collapse, the only possibility for further existence is not even polycentricity, but polyphony.
“What can be said about this? Well, I’m all for it. And it seems to me that this is the dream of humanity, and I would like it all to move in this way,” said the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
On the other hand, something completely different is observed among Western countries – an obvious growth in military spending, the philosopher noted. According to the political scientist, the increasing military spending is “painful,” since Western politicians also cannot follow the “guns instead of butter” concept too zealously, but nevertheless, military budgets continue to grow.
“We see that war with Russia is being discussed all the time. Once, when I said that my mathematicians and everyone else confirmed my intuition that it would be somewhere around 2030, it seemed to me that I was saying something bold. But now there is no one who does not say this! Everyone is talking about the coming world war,” said Sergey Kurginyan.
