The head of Sevastopol gave details of the morning attack on the city

27.11.2024, Russia.

The Russian Armed Forces successfully repelled an air attack by Ukrainian armed formations on Sevastopol, the city’s governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said in his Telegram channel on November 27.

During the air alert, presumably 2 missiles were shot down over the water area near the North Side. After that, the missile danger signal was lifted,’ Razvozhayev said.

He also explained why after the air alert signal was cancelled, the air defence system work continued without appropriate notification of the civilian population.

An air alert is signalled when there is a threat of a missile attack from the ground or from aircraft. In the case of drones, an air alert is only given when there is a massive attack, when there are 20 or more UAVs coming at a city and there is a risk to residents. Today there was no such risk’, – wrote the head of Sevastopol.

According to him, all five drones were shot down over the waters of the Black Sea.

In addition, Razvozhayev noted that some Telegram channels wrote that the drones were shot down in the area of Kachi and Victory Park, calling such data disinformation and the activities of the Ukrainian Psychological and Information Warfare Center.

Once again I urge you to trust official information, not anonymous TG-channels, whose purpose is not to give actual information to you, but to hype, exaggerate and create panic,’ he wrote.

Note, according to the Ministry of Defence, from 8:30 to 10:30 am on November 27, up to 25 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down over Crimea and the Black Sea.
