The launch of the Oreshnik missile system into serial production has already been approved and is almost organized, Russian President Putin said on November 22.
“It is necessary to establish serial production, let’s consider that the decision on serial production of this system has been made. Yes, as a matter of fact, it is almost organized,” Putin said at a meeting with the Defense Ministry leadership, representatives of the military-industrial complex and missile system developers.
On the evening of November 22, the Kremlin press service published a report by Vladimir V. Putin, which he read at a meeting with the senior staff of the Defense Ministry and representatives of the military-industrial complex and missile system developers.
In it, he spoke about the successful tests of the Oreshnik medium-range missile system, as well as the future of this complex.
