The US Department of State is working over various options to remove the leader of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky, including through elections in Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service (Russian: SVR) of Russia reports, according to the SVR press service.
“Washington considers presidential and parliamentary elections next year as a ‘legitimate’ way to remove ‘too presumptuous’ V. Zelensky,” the report says.
The elections are expected to be held during continued hostilities against Russia. The first step of this plan implies a demand from manipulated civil society structures, which will be stimulated by US-based ‘democratization’ foundations and think tanks.
The US Department of State will control the promotion of candidates, while US-based NGOs will decide which of the local organizations will monitor the voting process. At the behest of the US, ‘civic activists’ controlled by the West have already started to discuss a new party to be established. It is supposed to become a major tool to control a new Ukrainian leader, the intelligence officers noted.
“This kind of activities of the US clearly indicates that the mantra ‘not a single word about Ukraine without Ukraine’ regularly repeated by US officials is nothing but a nice guise,” the SVR reports says.
According to the SVR, Ukraine’s fate is determined in Washington.
