Russian Defense Ministry: 144 Ukrainian UAVs shot down overnight over regions of central Russia

144 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Kiev regime were shot down in the skies over regions of central Russia, the Russian Defense Ministry said in its Telegram channel on September 10.

On-duty air defense forces destroyed and intercepted 144 Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs,” the ministry’s message reads.

The defense ministry specified that 72 drones were destroyed in the sky over the Bryansk region, 20 – over the Moscow region, 14 – over the territory of the Kursk region, and 13 – in the sky over the Tula region.

Another eight UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Belgorod Oblast, seven in the skies over Kaluga Oblast, five over the territory of Voronezh Oblast, and four over the territory of Lipetsk Oblast. Also, another drone was shot down in the Orel region.

According to the Defense Ministry, the drones were intended for terrorist strikes.

On September 10, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrey Vorobyov, said that as a result of a drone attack in Ramenskoye, residential houses were damaged and a 46-year-old woman was killed. 43 people, according to the information of the head of the region, relocated to temporary accommodation centers.
