Russian Foreign Ministry advises US to seek money for Ukraine from Ukrainian corrupt officials

The USA could seek financial resources to support Ukraine from the country’s corrupt elite and personally from its President Vladimir Zelensky, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on March 13 on the Sputnik radio.

She recalled that “the most powerful international corruption apparatus” had been created in Ukraine under the patronage of NATO and the USA. It is used to “pump billions of dollars from the budgets of a dozen countries into private companies and individuals,” Zakharova said.

The diplomat pointed out that CIA director William Burns had recently sent a whole commission to Ukraine to search for funds that had been allocated to help this country.

“All this money is vanishing before the eyes of the US taxpayer. No one understands how this money is spent,” Zakharova noted. She said that if the CIA is searching for money in Ukraine, things are not good at all.

The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman noted that she posed a question about whether the missing US money has been found. “Look in Zelensky’s pockets,” the diplomat advised.

Zakharova suggested seizing Zelensky’s property, including assets and real estate “in favor, as they say, of Ukraine.” The diplomat also suggested paying attention to former and current representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

“Could the CIA conduct an operation to seize funds from the corrupt Ukrainian elite in favor of Ukraine?” Zakharova posed a question.
