12.03.2024, Warsaw.

There are 300,000 NATO soldiers in high readiness for redeployment to Poland, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Polish Army Karol Dymanowski told Polish TV on March 12.

He noted that earlier there were 40 thousand soldiers. “Now – it is 300 thousand in high readiness,” Dymanowski emphasized.

The military man called these soldiers a NATO shield. He noted that they would arrive in the country not after the start of the war but even before it.

On March 11, the US ambassador to Poland said that 10,000 US soldiers were deployed in the country. He stressed that US military equipment was very important for the country’s defense.

On 10 March, the Polish Foreign Ministry said that NATO troops were already in Ukraine.
