The West yearns to destroy Russia as its historiosophic competitor, and it will succeed unless Russia convincingly demonstrates a Russian miracle of revival, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on January 26 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
The political scientist noted that the West does not need Russia as a historiosophic competitor. However, it needs resources and territory. Besides, it needs to demonstratively punish Russia.
“It needs a major demonstrative punishment for the feast of disobedience. This feast of disobedience when someone dared to say, ‘We do not take orders from you’ – must be punished. And I am confident that the West is seriously preparing a rebellion in Russia, it is bound to prepare it,” the leader of Essence of Time explained.
Sergey Kurginyan stressed that the Russian history is mysterious as its way is alternative to the Western one. However, the political scientist explained that Russia, similar to the West, has always followed a path of directional development, and this is its difference from Asian civilizations that are typically cyclic.
The leader of Essence of Time noted that Russia and Europe are similar exactly in their lack of cyclicality. At least, this was true until US philosopher Francis Fukuyama in his work The End of History said that humanity was approaching the final point of its development. But until then both Russia and the West were what Hegel called a “historical humanity.”
“However, there has always been an irreconcilable conflict inside this historical humanity. It is extremely old,” the political scientist explained.
He noted that this conflict stems from the Trojan War and even earlier times, because Troy was part of the Minoan Crete civilization, which in turn had its roots in the civilization of the Nile Delta.
“This is a frantically mysterious long-lasting conflict, inside which the Russians are something absolutely special, having a very tight connection with the Black Sea, with Paphlagonia. According to Lomonosov, ‘Where there is Paphlagonia, there is the entire Caucasus.’ And Paphlagonia is an extension of Crimea,” the leader of Essence of Time said.
Sergey Kurginyan stressed that it is in the context of this long-lasting civilizational conflict that the West hates the Russians so desperately, as they are a special part of the Western world.
“This is a very special component. (…) They are hated as kin yet alien. The West has a historiosophic need to destroy them. And inside this there is a preparation for this destruction, which will only fail if they see a kind of a Russian miracle, a Russian miracle of revival, with a demonstration of a military and spiritual power which is unthinkable for themselves. This is when they will roar with hatred and stop. And they will wait, and even try to develop some sort of relations,” the political scientist said.
He explained that the West despises Russia for losing the cold war. And, unless a “Russian miracle” happens, the West will commit genocide of the Russians.
“Their chef’s specialty is to despise and destroy. And to leave the despised side no chance for any sort of despised life,” Kurginyan added.
