Iran, Russia and China to hold joint naval exercises

Joint naval exercises will be held in the near future, Iranian media reported citing the commander of the Republic’s Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani.

It is reported that the goals of the joint exercise are “to ensure regional security in common interests.” It is specified that the exercises will be held until March 19 this year.

In 2023, the maritime military exercise Maritime Security Belt of Iran, Russia and China was held from March 15 to 19 in the waters of the Arabian Sea.

On February 3, the exercises of the ground forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps ended. They were held at the Samin al-Aima military base in the Khorasan-Rezavi province in northeastern Iran.
