NATO plans to put the brunt of the war with Russia on Germany, but it’s not the first time for Germany, according to the report from the theater of war, published in The Essence of Time newspaper, issue 563.
Lieutenant Admiral Rob Bauer, Chair of the NATO Military Committee, said at the Berlin Security Conference that Germany must become capable of fighting again. According to him, this is necessary to deter Russia in Eastern Europe.
Bauer endorsed Germany’s plans to become NATO’s “backbone” in containing Russia. He called on German politicians to support the German authorities in this matter.
Brigadier General Tilo Maedler, Chief of Staff of the Bundeswehr’s Internal Defense Command, said that “we need to wake up” Germany, and perhaps not just Germany alone.
“The Ukrainians are running out, the Poles are so-so warriors, so the Germans should take the main load in case of a major war with Russia. It is not the first time for them,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
