Ukrayinska Pravda wrote about the attempted poisoning of the employees of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on November 28.
According to unnamed sources of the newspaper, the wife of the head of the intelligence agency Kirill Budanov was the most affected by the poisoning, as traces of heavy metals were found in her tests after she complained about feeling unwell.
Traces of poisoning were also found in several other employees of the agency, however, they did not seek medical attention due to the insignificance of the symptoms.
It is also reported that the attempted poisoning was “most likely initiated through food”
