A group of MPs from Zelensky’s party will go to the USA to ask for money

28.11.2023, Kiev.

A “parliamentary group” from the Servant of the People party is going to convince US congressmen of the need to provide military support to Ukraine, RIA Novosti wrote on 28 November, citing the Ukrainian daily Strana ua.

According to representatives of the Verkhovna Rada [Ukrainian parliament], this is the “main issue of the trip,” which will occur at the end of this week.

Earlier, the US administration asked Congress to allocate more than $105 billion to support Ukraine and Israel. The Republican-controlled lower house of parliament has so far refused to consider the allocation of funds together, believing that aid to Ukraine should be discussed separately.

According to White House coordinator John Kirby, Washington has spent 96 percent of all the funds allocated to support Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s special military operation.
