Russia and China are carrying out strategic cooperation based on trust and respect, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at a meeting with Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, on November 9.
According to Shoigu, Russia-China relations are a model of such strategic interaction.
In August, Sergei Shoigu said at the XI Moscow Conference on International Security that Russia has become a locomotive in promoting the interests of most countries seeking to pursue an independent policy.
According to the minister, it just so happens that by the will of history, this role has once again fallen to Russia. At the same time, the West fears establishing a multipolar world and provokes local conflicts around the world.
The West seeks to prevent the unification of all those who disagree with its policy and retain control over resources and continue to establish its own rules of life around the world.
