Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s visit to Tel Aviv has been jeopardized due to Israeli media leaks about the plans, citing a Ukrainian government official N12 TV reported on November 4.
“Leaking information about the president’s possible visit hurts relations between the countries and trust between decision-makers,” he told reporters.
According to the Kiev representative, Zelensky wanted the media to report on his visit only after his appearance in Israel. Otherwise, he fears for his safety.
The TV channel was told that the Ukrainian leader experienced disappointment when he learned about the leak. Kiev has not yet made a decision on the date of the visit.
It is worth noting that on November 3, Israeli news outlets reported that there are talks about Zelensky’s visit to Tel Aviv. They supposedly discussed the dates of November 6 and 7.
On October 16, it was reported in Israel that Zelensky wanted to visit Tel Aviv, but he was refused, responding that it was not time yet. In Kiev on this occasion said that they did not send a request for a visit.
