Kurginyan reminds who hates Israel the most

The West’s attitude towards Israel has always been complicated, but the UK has always simply hated it, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on October 20 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.

The political scientist reminded that the background of the creation of the state of Israel included post-Nazi antisemitism that the Jews faced in Europe after the end of World War Two.

“They were not allowed to return. Neither the Poles nor the Czechs allowed them back. They were persecuted, and this is a hidden page of history,” Kurginyan told.

The USA’s attitude towards Israel has been as complicated, the expert noted. Despite a conventional idea about the US authorities as a Zionist Occupation Government, in the USA in 1930s there were restaurants with posters “Jews and dogs are not allowed.”

Although a financial Jewish aristocracy formed immediately, the Americans were reluctant to allow any political Jewish aristocracy,” Kurginyan reminded. The Western elites have always felt disgust towards “conservative, socialist, militarized nature of the Jewish state.”

Although in France there was antisemitism, too, which was both sophisticated and internally very cruel, the UK’s hatred towards Israel has been the fiercest.

“The UK is the peak of this hatred. The main split inside the West is between the UK and Israel,” the political scientist believes.

On the program, the escalation of the Palestine-Israel conflict was discussed. Kurginyan reminded that in the USSR period, the USA needed Israel to rely on it in the region, because the USSR, starting from Khrushchev, developed relations with the Arab countries. After the collapse of the Soviet Union Israel became unnecessary for the USA. Furthermore, it became an obstacle for the transformation of the Big Middle East into an archaic, retarded periphery through US-promoted Islamist movements.
