The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Press Service announced readiness for subsequent military action in the Gaza Strip, with a focus on a possible ground operation on October 14.
According to the information provided, IDF forces are deployed throughout the country, also actively mobilizing hundreds of thousands of reservists. Operation plans include a wide range of coordinated offensive actions using air, sea and land forces.
The Israeli military has reportedly been “combating terrorists” in recent days in various localities around the Gaza Strip. They gained control of towns and military bases, confiscating large quantities of weapons, as well as successfully evacuating the wounded.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the area surrounding the Gaza Strip and discussed with the deployed military their readiness for the “next phase of the operation.” In response to his questions about the readiness of the troops, the military nodded affirmatively, confirming their readiness for action.
On October 7, after a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip, the Hamas group launched a ground operation against Israel. Several military bases were seized, the militants penetrated into several cities.
