Russian Foreign Intelligence Service responds with irony to MI6

21.07.2023, Moscow.

Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) urged the British intelligence Mi-6 to learn from the Cambridge Five, the agency’s press service wrote on July 21.

“Recall how effectively the Cambridge Five worked, George Blake, and learn from them, colleagues,” the SVR said in a statement.

On July 19, MI-6 Chief Richard Moore offered Russian citizens to cooperate with the UK intelligence services to support the Zelenskiy regime.

Note, the Cambridge Five is a group of British aristocrats-antifascists who collaborated with Soviet intelligence during World War II.

George Blake was a British intelligence officer who defected to the Soviet Union.
