German psychologists instilled hate of the Russian people and readiness to kill Russians in the Ukrainian military, RIA Novosti informed on June 22, citing the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.
Information about the training of Ukrainian fighters by German psychologists was provided by Ukrainian prisoners of war who were captured in the Krasny Liman direction. According to the captives, they were trained in NATO countries, where they were indoctrinated with hatred for the Russian people, trained psychologically to kill Russians and convinced of the weakness of the Russian army.
“The peculiar thing is that all of them received military training in NATO countries. Germany, Slovenia. German instructors-psychologists and psychologists from other countries were psychologically preparing Ukrainian servicemen to kill Russians,” the report reads.
The psychologists urged Ukrainian fighters to violate international humanitarian rules of warfare and persuaded them of Ukraine’s imminent victory. As the prisoners explained, the rest of the training was “not up to par,” and they surrendered in the first battles to avoid being killed.
The captives reported that the commanders, who had also been trained by Western instructors, remained in the rear, while throwing soldiers “into the meat grinder.” The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry added that all Ukrainian prisoners of war noted the dignified treatment they received from Russian servicemen.
“They say it is better to be here than in their army trained by Western supervisors,” the Defense Ministry stressed.
