Kurginyan: The West will not stop its aid to Ukraine after its defeat in Artyomovsk

08.06.2023, Moscow.

The West will not stop its military aid to Ukraine after Kiev’s defeats in Artyomovsk and elsewhere, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan writes in his article The Hybrid in the Essence of Time newspaper.

There was a stupid idea that as soon as Ukraine fails to hit the Russians hard enough to make them suffer a shameful defeat, then the West would feel disappointed, and it will stop its aid to Ukraine. Well, what can we see in fact now? The opposite thing has happened,” Kurginyan writes.

The political scientist noted that immediately after the Kiev regime lost the battle for Artyomovsk, its Western friends did not feel disappointed with Ukraine. In contrast, the West said it would provide many F-16 jets to Kiev.

Thus, the more Ukraine loses, the more, but not the less, the West will help it. And no European screams will make any difference. And Biden’s retirement will not change anything,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement believes.

According to Kurginyan, the Russian political decision-makers will only be able to win in their confrontation with the West if they go the length of fundamentally “changing the reality;” otherwise, “the growing pressure will not leave any chance for the authorities to escape the fate of Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi.”
