The USA intends to drive a wedge between Russia and China because it fears their alliance the most, according to a summary from the theater of war published in The Essence of Time newspaper, no. 536.
In late May, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said that Ukraine should not try to retake Crimea and Sevastopol. According to him, if Russia loses Sevastopol, it will be such a downfall for it that the integrity of the state will be threatened.
Kissinger believes that such a development would be undesirable for the world. He also called it a serious mistake on the part of the USA to offer Ukraine NATO membership in 2008.
“In this case, Kissinger speaks for a group that wants to drive a wedge between Russia and China, because this alliance is much more dangerous for the United States than Moscow and Beijing separately,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
