Ukrainian troops damage an ammonia pipeline in the Kharkov region

07.06.2023, Kupyansk.

An ammonia pipeline near Kupyansk in the Kharkov region was damaged as a result of the actions of Ukrainian troops, a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces performing several tasks in this area told RIA Novosti on June 7.

According to the information provided, there were cases of poisoning among the Ukrainian soldiers.

Reconnaissance reports that the Ukrainian armed units hit an ammonia pipeline near Masyutovka in the Kharkov region. Their high-ranking commanders were summoned to the site. After one of the Ukrainian soldiers died of ammonia poisoning, and two others were poisoned – gave them a command to stay in positions in masks and gas masks,” the serviceman said.

The ammonia pipeline Togliatti – Odessa is located in this area.

On February 24, 2022, after the heads of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics asked for help, Russia started a military special operation in Donbass and started demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. To neutralize the response of the Ukrainian armed forces, Russian troops carried out high-precision strikes on military infrastructure. Military warehouses, military airfields, and military operational centers on Ukrainian territory were hit.

The Kiev authorities chose a different strategy. The Ukrainian armed forces, together with radical nationalist units, conduct daily shelling of the peaceful towns of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the liberated territories of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Strikes are also carried out on Russian border territory. In addition, Ukrainian military units and nationalist battalions prevent Ukrainian civilians from leaving the territory where hostilities are taking place, using them as “human shields.”

On October 10, the Russian Armed Forces launched strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, which, according to the Russian government, Ukrainian special services were involved in. According to President Vladimir Putin, with the explosion on the bridge, the Ukrainian authorities equated themselves to the most odious terrorist groups, and “it is simply impossible to leave crimes of this kind unpunished.”

The Russian Armed Forces have been striking military, energy, and communications facilities across Ukraine.
