The US authorities are gradually escalating and are studying Russia’s reaction, according to a summary from the theater of war published in The Essence of Time, no. 535.
The US authorities claim they will not transfer the F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. At the same time, US President Joe Biden said at the end of the G7 summit in Hiroshima that he received a firm assurance from Zelensky that Kiev would not use the F-16 fighter jets to attack Russian territory.
At the same time, US Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan said that Washington had no objection to Ukraine using its weapons for strikes on Crimea because Washington believes that Crimea is Ukraine.
“The US elites are studying Russia’s response, gradually raising the stakes. The next round of escalation will apparently be the direct participation of a NATO contingent on the side of Ukraine,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
