Is Foreign Affairs trying to spin anti-Chinese hysteria? Opinion

10.04.2023, Moscow.

The Foreign Affairs article about China’s alleged preparations for war is yet another attempt to spin anti-Chinese hysteria in the United States, according to a report from the theater of war published in The Essence of Time newspaper.

The newspaper quotes an article from Foreign Affairs magazine stating that China is preparing for war and this should be taken seriously.

In particular, it points out that Chinese President Xi Jinping touched upon the need to prepare for war in four speeches. The government has stated the need to increase the defense budget by 7.2%.

The authors argue that something has changed in Xi’s rhetoric, and if he talks about war, we must believe him.

“The article is another attempt to cause a new round of anti-Chinese hysteria in the United States.
