India aspires to become an independent center of power, counterbalancing China, according to the reports from the theater of war published in The Essence of Time newspaper.
The paper quotes Kurt Campbell, National Security Council Coordinator for the Indo-Pacific.
He called India a great power and stressed that it would never become an ally of the United States. He explained that the countries could be partners as their interests overlap on many points.
Campbell called the relationship with India the strongest the USA has with other nations and urged that it be strengthened further.
“India aspires to become a power center in its own right, balancing China,” The Essence of Time‘s editorial reads.
