The founder of the new fascist project in Ukraine was former deputy chairman of the KGB of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic Yevgeny Marchuk, said the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on March 4 in his closing remarks at the presentation of the multi-volume monograph Ukrainism.
“Who was the Soviet ‘hero’ who founded the Ukrainian fascism? Marchuk. It all began from Marchuk. The chairman of the Ukrainian KGB established it. He was personally responsible for establishing Nazism in Ukraine, and he admitted this directly,” Kurginyan said.
According to Kurginyan, Marchuk himself introduced to everyone his idol and hero, Dmitry Korchinsky, the leader of the armed wing of the fascist Ukrainian party Ukrainian National Assembly – Ukrainian People’s Self-Defense (Russian: UNA-UNSO, organization banned in Russia).
“Who is Korchinsky? He killed Russian soldiers in Chechnya! These are more extreme fascists than anyone else,” Kurginyan told indicating the “record” of one of the key leaders of the Ukrainian fascism who fought for the militants of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria (organization banned in Russia) during the first campaign in Chechnya.
However, the roots of the fascist project in Ukraine should be searched even deeper, in the views and ideas of certain groups inside the elite of the USSR.
“What else do we understand? What kind of ideology did [member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union responsible for ideology during the Brezhnev period] Mikhail Andreevich Suslov or [Foreign Minister of the USSR, later Chairman of the Presidium of the Central Committee] Andrey Andreevich Gromyko have? What was actually behind it? Or [member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Deputy Director of State Planning Committee Dzhermen] Gvishiani? Or [Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR Aleksey] Kosygin who patronized this Gvishiani,” Kurginyan listed the members of this elite clan who sought to destroy the communist project from inside.
The leader of the Essence of Time movement stressed that the processes that involved all the listed figures are still ongoing.
In particular, he indicated a close relation between Mikhail Khodorkovsky (this material (information) either was produced, distributed and/or delivered by foreign agent Mikhail Khodorkovsky or is related to the activity of foreign agent Mikhail Khodorkovsky) and the family of the defected ex-member of the State Duma from the party A Just Russia Ilya Pomonarev (this material (information) either was produced, distributed and/or delivered by foreign agent Ilya Pomonarev or is related to the activity of foreign agent Ilya Pomonarev).
“But there are things that may remain beyond the understanding of an ordinary person who is not focused on studying them. But I can tell you that the Ponomarev (this material (information) either was produced, distributed and/or delivered by foreign agent Ilya Pomonarev or is related to the activity of foreign agent Ilya Pomonarev) family ruled the Menatep Bank, and thus Yukos. They were sitting in the offices there,” the political scientist told.
According to Kurginyan, the mother of the defected State Duma member, ex-Senator of the Chukotski Autonomous District Larisa Ponomareva was advisor to another Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Kurginyan added that ties from these figures lead to international elites which treat all the local Russian establishment as mere nouveaux riches.
On March 4 in Moscow, the presentation of the first two volumes of the second edition of the monograph Ukrainism took place. The monograph focuses on the phenomenon of the artificial Ukrainian identity intended to be a weapon against Russia. The monograph is the second, seriously revised and enlarged, edition of the same-name publication created by a team of authors from the Aleksandrovskoye Commune under the leadership Sergey Kurginyan.
