The military in Poland revealed significant technical problems with the Grot assault rifles supplied to Ukraine, the Polish news platform Onet wrote on March 8.

“After a joint exercise of Polish and Ukrainian special forces units with Grot automatic rifles, the Special Forces Command received a report. The Polish soldiers listed in it a long list of very serious problems with these weapons,” the article reads.

It is noted that Grots often lacked barrel-support screws, there was no locking of the stock extension, constantly jammed. Soldiers also pointed to the low quality of assault rifles and poor shooting accuracy.

Earlier Warsaw delivered to Ukraine a batch of Grot assault rifles. Another 200,000 Grots were ordered by the Polish military for its own needs.
