The Ukrainian military blew up almost all the bridges on the approaches to Artemovsk [Bakhmut], a serviceman of the Wagner PMC unit said, RIA Novosti informed on March 3.
“When retreating, the Ukrainian army is blowing up everything, destroying infrastructure,” the serviceman said.
According to him, this is how the Ukrainian armed units are trying to stop the Russian military offensive.
He also noted that the Ukrainian armed units are shelling facilities in villages near Artemovsk, trying to stop the Russian forces’ offensive.
Additionally, the Ukrainian armed units are doing everything so that Russia needs to restore more civilian infrastructure afterward.
Artemovsk is located in the northern Donetsk People’s Republic occupied by Kiev. It is an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian grouping of troops in Donbass.
