Wagner PMC units have practically completed encircling Artemivsk, Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the private military company, said in a video message to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky published on the businessman’s Telegram channel on March 3.
It is noted that only one road is accessible to the city. “Encirclement is tightening,” Prigozhin said.
Prigozhin noted that now there are “more and more old people and children” in the ranks of the Ukrainian army. He stressed that the life of such soldiers in the battles near Artemovsk is short – “a day or two.”
The commander of Wagner suggested that Zelensky should allow the elderly and young soldiers to leave the encircled city.
