Kurginyan: Do we understand that human gene editing is a new weapon of mass destruction?

Genetic engineering is a new weapon. The human genome has not been completely deciphered, and this gives humanity a chance to rise to the challenge, philosopher, political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on January 13 in the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio.

“Perhaps, few people realize that the human genome is decoded not quite the way it has to be when it is fully deciphered, and this still gives humanity some time for existence. But when it is fully deciphered, the most terrible things will take place,” warned Kurginyan.

The philosopher believes that humanity should keep an eye on this and has no right not to meet the challenge. He recalled that scientists have already been able to create cyborgs based on locusts, that is, they literally began to turn locusts into “the iron locusts from the Apocalypse.” Experiments are already underway to cross a human embryo with a pig or monkey embryo. They are limited only by the fact that under the laws in many countries of the world it is forbidden to grow human embryos in an artificial environment for more than 14 days.

“All in all, do we understand what’s going on when it is constantly claimed that genome modification can work wonders; that experiments in the field of crossing a human with a pig or a monkey are already taking place and are limited only by the age of the embryo? We are talking about a new weapon,” warned Kurginyan.

These technologies are being feverishly developed in the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), recalled the expert. Afterwords, these studies are distributed to large private organizations.

“These private traders themselves have great opportunities; they are are insane; they have no brakes; they can pry into anything; and they don’t care about the consequences,” emphasized Kurginyan.

Scientists from the University of Washington (USA) were able to create cyborgs based on locusts, a group of researchers from the Shandong University of Science and Technology (PRC) conducted successful experiments on cyborg pigeons.

Researchers from the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in California reported that they were able to grow unique embryos, which are a mixture of human and monkey cells. The previous series of experiments took place with chimeric embryos that combine pig and cow cells with human cells.
