Kurginyan tells how to set a path to a new Russia

In order to withstand the long-term conflict with the West, Russia needs to, on the one hand, mildly reform the system, avoiding any state collapse; and on the other hand, rebuild the military-industrial complex and the army on a new basis, relying on Soviet experience, stated philosopher, analyst, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in a new installment of the original program Destiny, published on the movement’s Youtube channel on December 30.

According to the political analyst, serious trouble awaits Russia by 2027, since the West intends to destroy our country. He pointed to several issues which in sum pose a deadly danger to Russia. These include the militarization of Poland and Japan, the possible involvement of Romania and the Baltic states in the future war, and the deployment of a powerful military industry in the Czech Republic.

Kurginyan stressed that we must avoid using nuclear weapons, and that the unfolding war is a conventional one. And this war, he said, requires a different population, a different ideology, a different culture and different Media.

He warned against drastic steps on the way to a new Russia. For instance, the expert is strongly against the nationalization of “kebab joints“, i.e. small and medium enterprises which contribute to the economy. Moreover, Kurginyan believes that such businesses should be freed from the intrusive care of the state.

The analyst is sure that the military-industrial complex, on the contrary, should be nationalized. He speculates that some of the owners of defense-industrial complex enterprises might agree to such forms of cooperation with the state that they “put on shoulder straps” and become “captains of industry“. But on the whole, this is doubtful, says Kurginyan, because “they have already tasted the crazy money.”

So let them leave. Let them clear the air,” the political scientist offers a solution to the problem of the pro-Western elite.

Kurginyan sees the two challenges that the country is facing: operation and development. The system operates on the basis of existing institutions, which must be maintained in order to avoid their collapse. And at the same time, it is necessary to reform the system institutions with care and gently, ensuring their survival in the current conflict, the expert pointed out.

The political scientist expressed doubts about the complete victory of Russia in the current conflict with Ukraine. He as an expert does not believe in the possibility of agreements with Ukraine, which will secure, for example, the status of Crimea and the new territories. This means, Kurginyan is sure, that there will be “more trouble ahead. They will increase in an avalanche-like manner“. And then it is vitally important to solve the problems of development – to build a new military-industrial complex, relying on the Soviet experience of standing in confrontation with the West.

Its terribly difficult, its almost impossible. And we have to be very careful and thorough. It has so little to do with the ‘let’s destroy everything and rebuild it’. If you take it down, you won’t build anything. And you won’t break it. This is different. This is a responsible, strategic and filigree work,” said Kurginyan.

The philosopher stressed that Russia, which has been standing at the door of the West for thirty years, dreaming of becoming part of it, has paradoxically turned out to be at the head of the confrontation with the West, the “real enemy of humanity“.

Given this, Russia is facing “either great successive novelty – or death,” said the leader of the Essence of Time movement in conclusion.
