Russia’s problems will only be solved if the authorities turn to the counter-elite and to a relic elite, stated philosopher, analyst, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with Anna Shafran on Radio Zvezda, published on December 9 on YouTube.
Sergey Kurginyan noted that the current elite, in case of mobilization, can only do more intensely what it is able to do, but for getting out of the crisis ego is not enough.
“He [a representative of the elite] knows how to carry out a kickback, determine the added value and the delta. He can also do it elsewhere in Europe, where it is more convenient for him. He might be able to do it in China or somewhere else, in North Korea. But he can’t do anything else: he cannot create,” explained the political scientist.
He also stressed that there are leaders who are interested in the development of the country and it is they who must be in demand by the state and become the new elite.
“I recently witnessed one man, the head of a very large company <…> Well, he was looking at a certain, created by him engine of a large object, he embraced it and told me: ‘Sergey, this is 8 years of my life! Eight years of my life!’ And he was shining, because eight years were not in vain. If this kind of counter-elite or relic elite is in demand, all problems will be solved. All problems must be solved starting with a simple matter – the people,” explained the analyst.
