Italy reveals when it stops to supply weapons to Kiev

13.12.2022, Rome.

The supply of weapons to the Kiev regime will stop with the start of peace talks, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crozetto said on December 13, ANSA reported.

According to the minister, the sides do not want to negotiate peace. The Minister expressed his hope that the EU has enough authority to play the role of a mediator.

At the G20 summit, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky named his conditions for the resumption of peace talks. The conditions included “restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity” within the borders he specified, “withdrawal of Russian troops” and a number of other points. On December 13, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that this was “out of the question” and new circumstances had to be taken into account.

In October, Zelensky signed a decree stating that he could not negotiate with the Russian president.
