The West made a stake on preventing the rest part of the world from developing in order to secure its own domination, stated political scientist, philosopher, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in The Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on Russia 1 TV channel on October 27.
The political analyst reminded that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the West stopped talking about the development of the world. On the contrary, it began to talk about the end of the History.
“We suddenly saw somewhere after the collapse of the Soviet Union. First these idiotic articles about the end of history and so on, and then we saw something much more far-reaching and more practical. Condoleezza Rice, then secretary of state under [US President George W.] Bush, speaks at Cairo University and says, ‘All of our past allies are now our enemies, and all those who were against it’ … everything is being turned inside out,” Sergey Kurginyan said.
The political scientist explained that Western countries have abandoned the concept of catch-up modernization and adopted a policy of building a new Archaic.
“It took a long time to get there,” the political scientist said. – It was clear that if India, China and other countries would modernize, then they would overtake the United States. They would sooner or later become the new leaders: in one scenario or another. If the rules of the game of modernity are followed, there will be a historical unevenness of development: new countries will replace old ones and so on. What is proposed now?”
The political scientist noted that in order to stop the growth of geopolitical competitors, the West has decided to stop the development as is.
“So, the main task now is to prevent development, and in the most active way. When Clinton said that nasty phrase that ‘we will bomb Serbia into the Dark Ages,’ it was clear that not only Serbia would be bombed, and not only in the Dark Ages. A new archaic is on the agenda. The periphery of the world should be archaic, the development should be forbidden to it forever, – the development, any seeds of it should be destroyed … By the way, in Europe, as well,” says the philosopher.
“A core is being formed, whose main task is to force all the rest not to develop,” the political scientist stressed, pointing out that in the new world there will be a new type of man – the posthuman.
“The West, which claims to be a secular humanism, cancels essentially this development. Further, as a consequence, all these perversions and so on begin. And we see a ‘new Atlantis’ emerging. This ‘new Atlantis’ which forbids the development of anyone else has become the subject for consideration by Russia. Russia has no place in this ‘new Atlantis’. So, it’s either Atlantis or Russia,” concluded Sergey Kurginyan.
According to him, the main question now is how to “build Russia so that it can hold back the advance of this Atlantis“.
