KGB of Belarus: Breakthrough in the special military operation in Ukraine will occur in November-February

11.10.2022, Minsk.

The turning point in the Russian military special operation for the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine should be expected in November-February. The chairman of the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus Ivan Tertel stated this on October 11, BelTA news agency reports.

“According to our estimates, there will be a turning point between November this year and February next year,” the agency quotes Tertel.

“If Russia qualitatively conducts mobilization and provides its army group with technical means and advanced weaponry, the fighting will enter a key phase,” Tertel stressed.

On February 21, Russia recognized the people’s republics of Donbass and concluded treaties of friendship and mutual assistance with them. But the Ukrainian authorities continued to escalate the situation, for which Russia launched a special military operation on February 24 to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine.
