The number of foreign mercenaries and Ukrainian fighters on the territory of Zaporozhye region under the control of Kiev has equalized, the chairman of the movement We are together with Russia Vladimir Rogov said on the air of the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia 1 TV channel on October 9.
“I think that in the Zaporozhye region the ratio is already 50/50. If you take all the foreigners and all the Ukrainian army fighters,” Rogov explained.
Earlier Rogov reported that Kiev had gathered mercenaries from three dozen countries on the front line in the Zaporozhye region. Thus, according to the chairman of the movement, the total number of Polish mercenaries in Zaporozhye in the combat zone reached 5,000 people, Japanese – about 80 people. In addition to mercenaries, natives of the western regions of Ukraine are also arriving in the region, he specified.
By now about 75% of the Zaporozhye region remains under the control of Russian troops, the regional center is occupied by Kiev militants.
